FEMALE EMPOWERMENT

FEMALE EMPOWERMENT CASE STUDY: SUCCESSFUL FEMALES IN THE LARGE WORLD OF BUSINESS Introduction        In this series of Female Empowerment, we’ll be considering females who have successfully made it in the large business world. Though it is commonly believed that the females have no place in the business world and that the males are the dominant species in the business world but I’d like to let you know that this is an inappropriate and primitive belief hence, it should be abolished.   The belief that females will forever be limited to the walls of a kitchen is unethical and degrading considering the fact that in our world today, we have millions, running into billions, of females who have successfully established a great empire for themselves and uplifted the names of their homes, despite the limitations set in front of them by the primitive belief and acts of the people of their various societies.   Some of these influential and great business women ...

FEMALE EMPOWERMENT CASE STUDY: SEXUAL ABUSE AND VIOLENCE AGAINST FEMALES INTRODUCTION        The rate of sexual abuse and violence against females in different countries of the world increases as the seconds and moments go by hence, the need for Female Empowerment worldwide.       Violence against women and girls is a widespread and systematic violation of fundamental human rights and an enduring form of gender based discrimination.  It occurs in every country of the world, rich and poor, stable and in conflict, and affects most women and girls, regardless of their age or socio-economic status. Every government – especially through political, administrative, and justice structures, mechanisms and processes – is accountable to end society’s tolerance of and states’ lack of responsiveness to this pervasive scourge on society.        Worldwide, women are vulnerable and at risk – enduring emotional and psychological trauma t...

FEMALE EMPOWERMENT CASE STUDY: THE POWERFUL AND INDEPENDENT NATURE OF THE GIRL-CHILD   In the previous edition of FEMALE EMPOWERMENT series, our focus was on Education as a main source of FEMALE EMPOWERMENT.   Now, our focus will be on the POWERFUL AND INDEPENDENT NATURE OF THE GIRL-CHILD. Though it’s a general believe that females are weak and powerless but I’ll tostrongly be opposing this and also giving a world known and historical example of strong, independent and powerful women without whom, their various nations won’t have attained the height it has today.  Firstly, we have Queen Mary 1 of England, Queen Victoria of England, Queen Elizabeth the first, Queen Elizabeth the second, Catherine The Great of the Russian Empire amongst many more.  I’ll be talking about; CATHERINE THE GREAT   Catherine Alexeievna Romanova was the Empress of the Russian Empire, she was commonly known as Catherine the Great. She was Empress of Russia from 1762 unt...

FEMALE EMPOWERMENT Case study: Education As a medium for Female empowerment In this edition of female empowerment, our focus will be on the aspect of “RIGHT TO BE EDUCATED”.  I know that you may be wondering if females are still being deprived of their right to be educated in this so called “Era of tech” and the shocking truth is “Yes”. Millions of females out there are being deprived of their right to be educated due to the ancient believe that it will be a waste of time as they would sooner or later be tied down in the kitchen but this isn’t true hence, this belief should be trashed.     The following are countries in which females are being deprived of the right to education: CAMBODIA Almost the entire educated class in Cambodia was eradicated when the forceful Khmer Rouge assumed power in the 1970s. The aftermath can still be seen today, as most women’s education comes to a halt at the onset of, or before, puberty, with only 15 percent of women seeking high...

FEMALE EMPOWERMENT IN OUR WORLD          We live in a world where females are seen and conceptualized as “WEAK”, “LESSER HUMANS”, this shouldn’t be. We should all have equal rights and opportunities.   Why should a woman be discouraged for aspiring to be an astronaut, a woodwork carpenter, an engineer, a pilot , a racer and even a plumber. We all have our weaknesses and strengths, that I agree to but our weaknesses shouldn’t be an obstacle but instead a stepping stone to our success that elevates us and brings us successfully to our final destination.    Having pointed these facts out, I believe that the weaknesses of females shouldn’t be their obstacles, hindrances, hurdles and even if it’s a stumbling block, turn it into a stepping block.    I’ll be giving a life scenario or instance of females who stood firm in the face of trials in the next episode.  http://ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersi...
