Loving the new quarterback

Episode 5

 I was lost in thoughts when a lady in the restaurant suggested that I should be taken to a nearby hospital for TREATMENT. On hearing that, I immediately snapped out of my thoughts, remembering that I was surrounded by people, Literally.

I quickly bounced back on my feet, though my legs felt wobbly but I

tried my best to stand upright to prove that I was perfectly fine and that it was nothing but a slight hit on my head. As soon as they heard this, they began leaving to return to their previous activities. When they were all gone, Ryan said to me

“ Rylie I’m so sorry that this happened, and on our official first date too. It was my fault, if I hadn’t dodged then he wouldn’t have hit you. I’m really sorry, please forgive me.” 

Seeing the sweet apologetic look on his face, I replied, “ Ryan, stop the apologies, your making me feel embarrassed. I know it wasn’t your fault so please don’t blame yourself. Please it’s fine.” 

 After the apology scenario, suggested that I should go home and get some sleep. With that, we walked down to the spot at the parking lot where Ryan had parked his Sports car.

Meanwhile, back at a secret hideout somewhere on the east of town, Gus had returned to their base to give updates to THE BOSS, where he told the boss all that had conspired between himself and Ryan. Then, after listening to all Guys had said, THE BOSS let out a big laugh and said to no one in particular, “So he now has a gal in his life, I see, I think she’ll be of use to me soon (Laughs).” Now talking to Gus he says, “ Boy, I need you to get me full data on his new girl”.

“Yes boss”, he responds.

"Follow her everywhere and if needed stalk her, and don't stop till you've gotten relevant data and info on her", THE BOSS said to Gus.

"Yes Boss", Gus responded.

Talking to himself now he says,

"The little twerp (Ryan) thinks he can offend me and get away with it. Now, we'll see who gets the last laugh".

   It was a very silent drive back home, neither Ryan nor I said a word, he would only look at me using the side of his eye, trying to keep focused on the road and when he did, a face of shame and guilt would appear on his face all over. After about 30 minutes driving, we finally arrived at the gate of my house and I was about to open the door when Ryan looked at me and said “I love you, so much that I don’t want you to get hurt. Please take care of yourself and make sure you get enough rest, I’ll always call to check up on you and I’ll even try my best to visit. Love you, Night”. With that I opened the car door, alighted from the car without uttering a single word and waved as he drove away. 

 I quietly walked down to the entrance door and gently opened and then shut it, then I tiptoed to my room trying my best to avoid waking my mum, knowing she’d be asleep.

   I got to the door of my room on the other end of the hallway and opened and shut it softly. Then in a flash was in the bathroom, taking off my clothes, shoes and make-up. I raced for the bath tub, got in set the water to warm, the last thing I needed was boiling hot water to bathe in. 

I had my bath, dried up and then came out of the bathroom and got into my PJ’s (Pajamas). After all the roaming, I was finally done and ready to go to bed. 

I slipped under the sheets and then, once upagain, my thoughts got the best of me. I couldn’t stop replaying the images of what had happened earlier on in my head. I then made up my mind to find out what Ryan was hiding and get to the bottom of it.

 Few minutes later, I was deep in sleep.

 Rylie wants to find out what is going on with Ryan… Will she find out what Ryan has been hiding, will she uncover his darkest secrets???... Find out in the next episode of
